MUSIKAHAN SA TAC 2025
LOCAL AND INTERNATIONAL GUESTS ON THE STAGE
Local and international artists came together for engaging group discussions, sharing their expertise and experiences in the arts. The conversations centered around cultural exchange, music, and performance inspirations, allowing participants to learn from one another while building meaningful connections. Following the discussions, the artists spent the afternoon enjoying a lively jam session, bonding over shared rhythms and spontaneous performances.

The second part of Musikahan Sa TAC began with the international guests from Myanmar, Indonesia, and Laos. They were also joined by Los Baños Musicians.
Moosoe from Myanmar performs a head-bopping rock song which is originally composed by him. Duth of Laos brings in the reggae in the house! He performs a song called “Hopeless Land”, a song for his home country, Laos. Indonesia’s Umar sings a song with a title translated to Filipino “Magpursige”. From the Philippines, Jopay and Gia of Southern Tagalog Music Collective call for awareness for the attacks they face when they’re on the streets. Jopay performed a song titled “Anak ng Bayan”. Esteemed songwriter, Bong Ramilo, performs a song about a child witnessing the massacre of their parents. Von Datuin is joined by Vania to sing a song the former wrote after being inspired by a cemetery. Calle Manu sings a heart-warming song for Sierra Madre. Bie and Vania (Wake up, Iris) of Indonesia are joined by the audience for their performance.

Aklat Para Sa Lahat!
We are excited to welcome the partnership with Councilor Leren Mae Bautista and the Los Baños LGU’s Bahay Kubo Library!

Over the past years, The Book Nook Los Baños Laguna—a project of the National Book Development Board and ARTIST Inc.—has been fostering a love for reading in local schools and communities. One of the earlier initiatives of the project was the Mobile Book Nook three years ago, done in partnership with the Sangguniang Kabataan of Dila, where Councilor Leren joined us in bringing books directly to the community.
Earlier this year, Councilor Leren and Mayor Ton Genuino reached out to ARTIST Inc. to collaborate on the Bahay Kubo Library.

It is inspiring to see passionate champions stepping forward to join our advocacy. We warmly welcome the Bahay Kubo Library as we continue working together to foster a culture of reading in our communities.
Together, let’s make books accessible to all!
